What you'll do:

In the capacity of Corporate Commercial Solicitor, you will:

• Assume responsibility for leading the Company Commercial department, overseeing complex transactional matters such as mergers, acquisitions, and restructuring initiatives.
• Cultivate and maintain robust client relationships by providing commercially attuned legal advice tailored to each client's specific requirements.
• Guide and support junior lawyers within the team, fostering their professional growth and contributing positively to the collective ethos.
• Participate actively in business development by identifying new opportunities, engaging with prospective clients, and contributing to strategic marketing efforts.
• Draft intricate legal documents including sale and purchase agreements whilst ensuring adherence to relevant legislation such as the Companies Act 2006.
• Collaborate closely with colleagues across various departments to deliver seamless legal services to both private individuals and commercial entities.
• Enhance the firm's public profile through article authorship, public relations activities, social media engagement, and representation at industry events.

What you bring:

• You are a qualified solicitor possessing at least four to five years' post-qualification experience in company commercial law within a reputable legal practice.
• You have demonstrable experience managing complex corporate transactions including business acquisitions, disposals, and restructuring projects.
• Your leadership qualities are evidenced by prior experience mentoring junior lawyers or managing teams within a professional setting.
• You possess excellent written communication skills with meticulous attention to detail when drafting contracts or preparing technical documentation.
