My client, a leading regional law firm is seeking an experienced Corporate Commercial Solicitor to join its highly regarded Corporate & Commercial team based in Exeter.

This is a rare opportunity for a Senior Lawyer to take the next significant step in their legal career, whether you're currently a Senior Associate, Legal Director, or Salaried Partner.

The Role – Corporate Commercial Solicitor/Partner:

This position offers exposure to high-quality, diverse corporate and commercial law matters, working with an established team and a loyal client base across the South West and nationally. You’ll be given the autonomy to lead transactions while receiving the support to further develop your career in the direction that suits you 

Key Responsibilities: 

As a Corporate Commercial Solicitor, you will:

• Advise clients on corporate law, commercial contracts and business structuring
• Handle mergers & acquisitions, business sales and purchases
• Draft and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements
• Support clients with shareholder agreements, joint ventures and company reorganisations
• Work with SMEs, startups, owner-managed businesses, investors and funders
• Contribute to business development and the strategic direction of the team

Your Profile: 

• Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive in England & Wales
• Minimum 3 years’ PQE in corporate and/or commercial law
• Confident managing transactions independently or as lead advisor
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills
• A team-oriented lawyer looking for meaningful progression
• No client following required – though welcome if you have one
