Solicitor - Corporate & Commercial - REV & REGS LIMITED : Job Details

Rev & Regs are recruiting for a Corporate & Commercial Senior Associate role on behalf of a well-established Law firm, based in Tunbridge Wells.

This is an excellent opportunity for a strong mid-level, or established senior, commercial and corporate lawyer to be part of a multi-award winning and growing law firm.

Responsibilities:

• Support the development and growth of the corporate offering.
• Manage and run the corporate workload largely independently with the support of the commercial and employment team where necessary.
• Deepen your expertise in commercial law (with emphasis on tech law), focusing on the technology market and service offerings.
• Support the commercial team, in a collaborative way including mentoring and setting a good example for our more junior associates.
• Learn more about the technology world, get training from the experienced team on legal issues specific to the market.
• Identify and analyse current and emerging legal issues and risk and effectively communicate these to the appropriate levels of the business; be involved in risk mitigation discussions.

Experience Required:

• 3-5 Years PQE
• A high performer who thrives in a fast-paced business environment.
• Strong team player with excellent organisational and communication skills; high energy; a desire to learn; and a commitment to the highest ethical standards.
• Ability to exercise sound judgement, be solutions-based, take responsibility and ownership of issues, including taking difficult decisions and providing substantiated arguments and reasoning for your position
• Qualified solicitor, with background from a good corporate & commercial law firm and/or in-house team with experience of corporate transactions and ideally with some experience of IT/IP contracts and a working knowledge of data protection issues.

Location: Remote (Required in their office 1 day per month)
