Job title: Corporate Commercial Account Handler

Salary: £50,000 per annum

Location: Chelmsford

PURPOSE OF ROLE

Our client, a global leader in risk and insurance solutions, is seeking a motivated Client Service Advisor. This hybrid role offers the flexibility to work from home and the Chelmsford office, providing a supportive environment where you can thrive. You'll play a crucial part in helping clients make informed decisions, delivering tailored risk solutions, and ensuring outstanding service at every step.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage and support a portfolio of corporate clients, delivering excellent day-to-day service
• Provide technical insurance and risk management advice
• Work with Client Managers on tailored Service Plans and attend client/insurer meetings
• Recommend improvements to insurance programmes and negotiate terms with insurers
• Prepare marketing presentations and cover comparisons with the Broking Manager
• Build strong insurer relationships and resolve client queries efficiently
• Identify opportunities to offer wider business solutions
• Ensure compliance with company policies and risk frameworks

DAY-TO-DAY

• Managing a portfolio of large mid-market clients across a variety of sectors
• Partnering with Client Managers to strengthen client relationships and deliver best-in-class service
• Supporting broking teams to achieve optimal solutions for clients
• Attending client meetings and insurer discussions, ensuring smooth communication and delivery
• Taking part in professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge
• Contributing to a collaborative, innovative, and inclusive team culture

EXPERIENCE

• Demonstrated experience in the insurance industry, ideally within commercial risks
• Knowledge of global placements (beneficial but not essential)
• A strong commercial mindset with an understanding of market forces and risk factors
• A proven background in delivering exceptional client service within a consultative environment
