Trace is recruiting a Corporate Accountant to join the Finance team of a wealth management firm based in South Birmingham. It's an extremely varied role covering financial accounting, management reporting and business partnering. Your Role:
- Preparing and presenting the management accounts with supporting analysis and commentary.
- Taking ownership of balance sheet accounts and reconciliations.
- Assisting with the preparation of financial statements and regulatory returns.
- P&L reporting and commentary analysis.
- Producing financial analysis; and supporting senior management decision-making.
- Business partnering with different departments to inform the accuracy of accounting entries.
- Supporting the annual audit process.
- Assist with the preparation of annual budgets and re-forecast through reporting tasks.
Your Skills and Qualifications:
- Recently qualified Chartered Accountant (ACCA, ACA) from a Top 20 accountancy practice.
- Experience in financial services industry would be beneficial.
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills with great attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills so that you can have confidence to work with finance and business partners.
- Team player, with a willingness to learn new skills and add value.
