We’re working in partnership with a leading People Services organisation to recruit a Corporate Accountant to join their dynamic finance team.This is a pivotal role within a respected and forward-thinking organisation, offering you the opportunity to directly influence financial planning and strategy in relation to fixed income.About the Role:Reporting to the Head of Corporate Accounting, you'll take ownership of budgeting, forecasting, and reporting on all fixed income streams.This position plays a vital role in preparing institutional forecasts, aligning with planning teams, and presenting insights at executive-level meetings. From analysing retention rates and modelling scenarios, to supporting audits and year-end reports, this is a varied and high-impact role where attention to detail and a proactive mindset are key.Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the preparation and monitoring of fixed-income budgets and forecasts.
- Collaborate with internal planning teams to ensure alignment with intake targets.
- Support the creation of the 5-year plan, especially around fixed income streams.
- Conduct scenario modelling to identify key financial trends and present solutions.
- Coordinate and deliver the institution’s annual audit.
- Maintain and enhance income databases and reporting tools.
- Interpret government funding changes and assess financial impacts on the institution.
- Provide expert advice within business plans and new course proposals.
About You:
- You’ll be a fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with extensive management accounting experience.
- You should bring a strong command of Excel and financial systems, an analytical approach to data, and be confident presenting complex financial information to a range of stakeholders.
Experience in a complex organisation is advantageous, though not essential - what matters most is your ability to interpret complex funding environments and contribute to strategic decision-making.Why Apply?
