Corporate AccountantIs this the role for you?Are you a newly Qualified Accountant (ACCA/ACA or equivalent) who is looking for a new challenge?I am working with an exceptional organisation which strives for best in practice standards in all that they do, to find a self-motivated and proactive Accountant to join their Corporate team.The office is based in Central London and the team is currently working on a hybrid basis with 3 days in the office.What you will do:Working as part of a close-knit team you will be undertaking the following:

• Take responsibility for the financial management of a portfolio of UK, overseas and outsourced entities.
• Consolidating monthly reporting from various sources
• Assist with planning and preparation of year-end statutory accounts and audit
• Working within prescribed guidelines (FCA, ISAE, SOx)
• Prepare and assist with the regulatory filings (FCA)
• Work with the tax team to resolve queries and issues

What you will need:

• A minimum 2.1 degree classification (or equivalent) in a relevant subject
• Accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA or equivalent) with up to 18 months PQE
• Ideally a background in Accountancy Practice with exposure to Financial Services firms (Private Equity, Banking, Asset Management)
• Excellent time management with experience of dealing with multiple deadlines
• A strong desire to progress and develop your career
