Creative and Digital Copywriter
£31,000 per annum

My client is one of the fastest growing beauty retailers in the UK, with iconic brands that have gained a cult-like following.
Due to continued growth and success, the opportunity to recruit a Creative and Digital Copywriter has arisen. The successful candidate will have a passion for beauty, an understanding of digital Marketing and knowledge of SEO and best practices across digital channels. What you’ll be doing:
- Bringing the brand to life with words!
- Defining the tone of voice for the brands and looking for ways to differentiate the brands through language that appeals to our audiences.
- You’ll own the naming within the brands and help them structure their product naming conventions in a way that drives maximum impact for the masterbrand, communicates well to customers and in some instances, makes them famous!
- Product listing copy for ecommerce, trade and marketplaces to SEO and channel best practices
- Working with email + brand teams to deliver email content - subject line, preview text and body copy
- Working with social team to deliver brand tone of voice through copy
- Working with marketplaces + brand teams to deliver channel-relevant copy for marketplaces (Amazon, eBay etc)
- Blog writing - researched, SEO, brand tone of voice, 'how to’ and educational content
- Packaging copy - clear and compliant copy for instruction manuals and packaging.
- Paid ad copy and approvals and informing PR messaging to be on brand.
The role requires:
- Fast paced work with a strong attention to detail.
- An ability to work within brand guidelines and to deadlines.
- Excellent written English, with the ability to deliver brand personality and British wit, being plugged into social media culture and emerging social colloquialisms is a plus.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Experience working for an ecommerce company.
- Basic knowledge of digital marketing.
- Passion for beauty, experience in beauty.
- Understanding of SEO best practices, email marketing and digital advertising best practices.
- Experience in leading unique tones of voice for brands across multiple brand touchpoints.
You must have a minimum of three years experience in a copywriting role or freelancing as a copywriter and a team player mindset.
