Victor Chase Legal Recruitment is delighted to present an exciting opportunity for an experienced Conveyancing Team Manager to join a forward-thinking and growing residential conveyancing firm based in Manchester.
This newly created leadership position offers the chance to make a real impact, driving operational excellence, inspiring junior talent, and shaping the future of the conveyancing division. You’ll lead a high-performing team and work closely with internal stakeholders and associated property businesses to ensure a seamless, compliant, and client-focused service.
Key ResponsibilitiesTeam Leadership: Inspire and manage a team of conveyancers, graduates, and support staff, providing coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback in a positive and collaborative environment.
Operational Management: Oversee daily workloads, holiday cover, and resourcing needs to ensure SLAs are met and KPIs optimised.
Risk and Compliance: Conduct regular file audits, ensure AML compliance, resolve complex legal issues, and support with problem-solving on challenging cases.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and aligned estate agency partners to drive workflow and enhance client experience.
Complaint Resolution: Address and manage client concerns efficiently, using insights to promote continuous service improvement.
Professional Development: Champion CPD, compliance training, and career development within your team. Lead by example through professionalism and a results-driven mindset.
To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate:
Proven experience managing a residential conveyancing team, ideally in a fast-paced volume environment.
Strong people leadership and team development skills with a coaching approach.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with confidence in stakeholder engagement and performance management.
A proactive, solution-focused attitude with high attention to detail, especially in relation to compliance, AML, and legal risk.
Commitment to exceptional client service and a collaborative work ethic.
Sound knowledge of residential property law and conveyancing practice.
