The Role

We are looking for a Paralegal to join our Residential Property team in Brighton. The team handles a wide variety of matters, from sales and purchases of homes for first-time buyers to more complex transactions for seasoned investors.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with conveyancing experience who wants to develop their skills while working closely with experienced lawyers on interesting and varied property work.

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting the team with administrative tasks such as file opening, ID checks, scanning, bank transfers, ordering searches, and preparing bills/statements
• Drafting and preparing legal documents including contracts, transfer deeds, mortgage deeds, SDLT returns, and registration applications
• Developing legal skills with opportunities to handle title checks, legal reports, exchanges, and completions
• Liaising with clients, solicitors, mortgage lenders, and estate agents

About You

• Previous conveyancing or residential property experience is desirable
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
• Good communication skills and a client-focused approach
• Proactive, positive, and keen to learn
