Job Title: Conveyancing Assistant / Paralegal

Location: Central London (10-minute walk from Covent Garden)

About the Role:

Our client, a highly respected and forward-thinking law firm, is seeking a Conveyancing Assistant or Paralegal to join their thriving Residential Real Estate team in their Central London office. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a well-established firm with a dynamic approach to legal services.

The Role:

As a Conveyancing Assistant/Paralegal, you will work closely with a team of experienced fee earners to support all aspects of residential property transactions—from initial instruction through to post-completion. You will be instrumental in ensuring smooth file progression and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Opening new files and ensuring AML compliance
• Assisting with the full conveyancing process
• Handling exchange formalities, completion, and post-completion tasks
• Drafting financial statements and invoices
• Submitting AP1 and SDLT forms
• General administration and archiving
• Updating internal and external systems
• Liaising with clients and third parties under supervision

About You:

• Previous experience in residential (or commercial) conveyancing within a legal environment is essential
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
• Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills
• Able to work independently and meet deadlines
• Commercially aware and proactive in your approach
• Team-oriented, flexible, and committed to delivering high-quality service
