About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Conveyancing Assistant to join our friendly and busy Residential Property team based in Bingley. This is a client-focused role where you’ll be supporting residential sales and purchases, and we’re looking for someone who takes pride in offering a helpful, professional and approachable service.
Previous conveyancing experience is essential (12+ months ideally in sales and purchase), and we’re looking for someone who can hit the ground running. You’ll need to be a quick and accurate worker, able to follow instructions carefully while managing a fast-paced workload with a lot of client contact. Key Responsibilities
Opening new files and inputting instructions onto the case management system
Producing relevant letters and legal documents
Updating the case management system in line with team procedures
Issuing contracts on sale files and assisting with replies to enquiries
Ordering searches and dealing with exchanges
Setting up completions and issuing mortgage reports to clients
Handling incoming post and telephone enquiries
General administration including filing, billing, photocopying and archiving
Key Skills
Strong IT, literacy and numeracy skills
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Friendly, professional and client-focused communication
Ability to manage workload, prioritise tasks and work under pressure
A flexible, proactive attitude with a team-first approach
Confident working on your own initiative
Experience Required
12+ months’ experience in conveyancing, specifically in residential sales and purchases
Previous experience in a similar fast-paced legal environment
