An excellent opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Conveyancing Assistant to join the busy New Build Property Team at a highly regarded, employee-owned law firm based in Garforth, Leeds. The Role:Working within the New Build team, you’ll be responsible for assisting with a busy caseload of sale and purchase transactions, ensuring clients receive a smooth, professional, and friendly service throughout their property journey. This is a client-facing role ideal for someone who thrives on organisation, efficiency, and people contact.
Key Responsibilities:
Open new files and input new instructions on the case management system
Produce contracts, letters, and legal documents
Order searches and issue mortgage reports
Deal with exchanges, completions, and associated paperwork
Manage telephone enquiries and incoming post
Keep the case management system updated in line with team procedures
Support with general admin including billing, filing, photocopying, and archiving

About You:
A minimum of 12 months’ experience in residential conveyancing, covering both sales and purchases
Confident, proactive, and highly organised
Strong attention to detail with excellent communication skills
Ability to manage a high-volume workload and prioritise under pressure
Comfortable dealing with clients directly and providing a professional, personable service
