An excellent opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Conveyancing Assistant to join the busy New Build Property Team at a highly regarded, employee-owned law firm based in Garforth, Leeds. The Role:Working within the New Build team, you’ll be responsible for assisting with a busy caseload of sale and purchase transactions, ensuring clients receive a smooth, professional, and friendly service throughout their property journey. This is a client-facing role ideal for someone who thrives on organisation, efficiency, and people contact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Open new files and input new instructions on the case management system

  • Produce contracts, letters, and legal documents

  • Order searches and issue mortgage reports

  • Deal with exchanges, completions, and associated paperwork

  • Manage telephone enquiries and incoming post

  • Keep the case management system updated in line with team procedures

  • Support with general admin including billing, filing, photocopying, and archiving

  • A minimum of 12 months’ experience in residential conveyancing, covering both sales and purchases

  • Confident, proactive, and highly organised

  • Strong attention to detail with excellent communication skills

  • Ability to manage a high-volume workload and prioritise under pressure

  • Comfortable dealing with clients directly and providing a professional, personable service
