A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Conveyancing Assistant to join the residential property team at a highly regarded law firm based in Crossgates, Leeds. This role is ideal for candidates with a minimum of 6 months’ conveyancing experience, looking to develop their skills and work alongside a Senior Fee Earner in a supportive, professional environment.

Key Requirements:

• Minimum of 6 months' experience as a Conveyancing Assistant is essential
• Strong understanding of residential sales and purchase transactions
• Applications without relevant conveyancing experience cannot be considered

Main Responsibilities:

• Opening new files and accurately entering information into the case management system
• Producing client letters and legal documentation
• Assisting in issuing contracts on sale files and responding to pre-contract enquiries
• Ordering property searches and supporting the exchange process
• Preparing for completions and issuing mortgage reports
• Ensuring files are kept up to date throughout the conveyancing process
