Contracts/Proposals Coordinator 

A leading provider of specialist drilling and geoscience services is seeking a detail-oriented  Proposals & Contracts Coordinator to support its commercial and operational teams. This is a key role in the preparation of high-quality proposals and contract documentation for technically complex offshore and onshore projects.

This opportunity sits within a globally recognised logistics and technical services group that supports thousands of projects annually across energy, infrastructure, and scientific sectors. The UK division is known for its reliability, precision, and collaborative approach.

Role Overview

You’ll be responsible for managing tender responses, reviewing supplier contracts, and ensuring proposals are commercially sound and aligned with client expectations. The role requires strong organisational skills, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to translate technical scope into clear, compelling submissions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage RFQs, ITTs, and proposal submissions from initial enquiry to contract award
  • Liaise with technical, operational, and finance teams to gather input for proposals
  • Prepare pricing models, commercial summaries, and execution methodologies
  • Review client specifications and ensure compliance with contractual terms
  • Support contract negotiation and handover to project delivery teams
  • Maintain proposal templates, CRM records, and bid tracking systems
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of commercial processes and documentation

Ideal Candidate

  • Degree in business, commercial management, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Previous experience as a Commercial Coordinator, Quotations Coordinator, or Internal Sales Coordinator
  • Strong understanding of tendering processes and commercial risk
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in MS Office and CRM tools
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work cross-functionally
  • Familiarity with offshore drilling, geotechnical, or survey operations is advantageous
