Contracts Manager Role - Highways - Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited : Job Details

Your new companyYou will be working as a Contracts Manager for a Highways contractor who operates across the Midlands for local authority framework and private developers. With these schemes, in particular, you will be working on Public Realm schemes in the West Midlands which involve kerbing, ducting, drainage, footpaths, footbridges and car parks.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Write Risk Assessment and Method Statements and Health & Safety Plans
• Develop programmes for multiple projects using MS Project
• Ensure weekly review of progress, budget resources and forward planning are carried out and look-ahead programmes are in place
• Oversee and ensure that HSE-related documents are kept up to date and undertake site inspections ensuring audits and reports are produced.
• Ensure procurement and reconciliation of materials is carried out in accordance with company procedures to best value and to prevent delays
• Liaise closely with the client (local authority)

What you'll need to succeed

• CSCS Card
• SMSTS
• First Aid
• NRSWA (Desired)
• Experience within the Highways' industry as an Agent or Contracts Manager
