Contracts Manager - Joinery

£60-65k plus package

Contracts Manager required for a leading joinery / fitout contractor working on commercial projects and high rise residential schems with project values up to £2.5 million. Work includes fire doors, door sets, wall paneling, kitchens, flooring and more.

Role Overview:

As the Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for manging several projects operationally offering technical advice and support on specification and design and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage 2-4 projects supporting the site teams
• Manage the client relationship attending meetings and offering technical advice and solving problems
• Review project drawings and specifications and write programmes for site
• Visits sites on a weekly basis (travel required to London)
• Liaise and lead with other subcontractors such as flooring, glazed partition contractors
• Liaise and work closely with the operations director

About the Company:

• Specialist joinery / fit out contractor
• Works with Tier 1 and Tier 2 main contractors
• Projects typically range from £250k to £2.5mill
• Over 30 years of trading history

What We're Looking For:

• Technical background in joinery
• Previous experience managing large commercial and residential projects
• CSCS and driving license
• NVQ Level 6 in construction or degree educated
• Proficient in IT and reporting tools including bolster
• Ability to write and amend programmes
