Contract Technical/ Solution Architect - Outside IR35 Hybrid working We are seeking a Technical / Solutions Architect to support a range of integration and testing activities across different systems within the Transport sector. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with strong technical documentation, testing, and API integration experience, particularly within transport or ticketing environments.

• Role: Technical / Solutions Architect
• Location: Liverpool / Hybrid
• Rate: £525-£550 per day
• Contract Length: 8 months (potential to extend)
• Start Date: ASAP
• Working Arrangements: Hybrid working - on-site presence required twice per week.

The successful candidate will play a key role in the integration and testing of various transport-related systems, including HOPS and customer management platforms. You'll be responsible for creating and maintaining technical documentation, supporting testing phases, and ensuring third-party solutions align with business requirements and security standards.

• Proven experience as a Technical or Solutions Architect in complex environments
• Strong hands-on experience with system integration and testing
• Ability to interrogate systems such as HOPS and customer management back-office platforms
• Experience with System Integration Testing and User Acceptance Testing
• Skilled in creating and updating:
  • Test plans and scripts
  • Technical documentation
  • Solution designs
  • Process flows and user guides
• Strong understanding of API integrations across websites, payment portals, IVR, and ideally account-based ticketing systems
• Confident engaging with third-party vendors and internal teams
