Circa £50,000 depending on skills and experience

Permanent, Full time, 37 hours a week

You will be responsible in ensuring when demand increases that we leverage the peak lopping contract to meeting the needs of Water Recycling Networks. You will create a strong performance management culture within the contracting framework ensuring that their values line up with our zero-pollution mindset. Overseeing the Resource Demand Capacity portfolio will need a degree of curiosity and care making sure our customers and the environment are protected through proactive planning and the use of data to drive action.

What will you be doing?

Your key duties will include:

- Support the team in providing consistent and robust commercial and contract management practices.

- Collating and maintaining framework data, resolving issues and addressing gaps

- Independently administering and executing contracts and our Tier 1 and Tier 2 supply chains.

- Audit contracts and frameworks across the team

- Instil an environment that positively encourages the integrated teams to make the correct decisions and choices in line with the governance process, structures and commercial models that allows the required contractual delegated responsibilities

- Actively promote health and safety objectives by demonstrating the importance of health, safety and wellbeing in all circumstances and leading by example

- Creating an environment that encourages integrated teams to make correct decisions aligned with governance processes and commercial models.

- Overseeing the creation of seasonal playbooks to support in our delivery of work volumes

- Ensure Framework contractors deliver to Anglian Water's company purpose and values

- Promote a strong health and safety monitor system which ensure annual assessments are completed and evaluated and briefings are shared in a timely manner.

- Complete and encourage a visible leadership programme embedding contractors within teams to encourage collaboration and strong communication.

What does it take to be a Contract Lead?

- Knowledge or experience of financial budgets and contract or framework management

- Experience in project or data management and development of data systems, records and reporting

- Ability to assess risks and make significant operational decisions with incomplete

- information

- Ability to adapt, challenge and change

- Understanding contract terms and legal compliance is crucial.

- Contract Leads negotiate agreements and explores opportunities with contracts team to further enhance our performance position

- Strong Management of Contractor policy knowledge

- A valid driver's license is essential

- Passion and drive to use data to determine opportunities within our incoming demand

- Excel at finding solutions and experimenting with different approaches to resolve issues

- Strong people performance management skills
