Content Manager - Bucks and Berks Recruitment : Job Details

We're on the lookout for an experienced and imaginative Content Manager to join our client's team in Beaconsfield. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who blends visual creativity with technical know-how-bringing content to life across our digital platforms and supporting the evolution of our brand.

Reporting directly to the CEO, you'll take ownership of content and email marketing-producing visually striking assets, crafting compelling narratives, and managing our online presence across Shopify, email campaigns, and social media. A strong creative mind, a keen eye for detail, and a methodical approach are key.

Experience in Shopify is required!

Salary circa £32k plus benefits.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with the CEO to plan, create, and execute content across all digital touchpoints
• Design and produce high-quality visuals using Adobe Photoshop (essential)
• Manage and maintain the Shopify store, including content updates, product listings, and homepage banners
• Write imaginative and persuasive content-from product descriptions to campaign copy and blog posts
• Build and schedule engaging email campaigns using platforms such as Brevo or Mailchimp
• Use HTML and basic CSS to update and enhance web content as needed
• Plan and manage the content calendar, working to tight deadlines with a methodical, organised approach
• Post and schedule content across social media platforms with visual and written consistency
• Use Google Analytics to monitor performance, report on content engagement, and optimise accordingly
• Contribute to new product development with naming, storytelling, and creative input

About You

• Proven experience in a content, marketing, or e-commerce role
• Proficient in Adobe Photoshop; familiarity with Canva, Illustrator or InDesign is a bonus
• Experienced with Shopify content management and basic theme customisation
• Comfortable with HTML and CSS for editing website content and layouts
• Strong copywriting skills with a creative and imaginative tone
• Familiar with email marketing platforms like Brevo or Mailchimp
• Data-literate, with working knowledge of Google Analytics
• Highly organised, deadline-driven, and able to juggle multiple content streams
• Enthusiastic about product development and brand storytelling
