About the role

The Consumer Safety coordinator is a position responsible for the collection and maintenance of key safety information to support the efficient and compliant functioning of the consumer safety function.

Key responsibilities

  • Supporting the collection/coordination of safety data to maintain the accuracy of safety systems, such as the Pharmacovigilance System Master File.
  • Support the Consumer Safety organisation in maintaining key communication safety tools such as maintaining up-to-date information on internal intranet sites.
  • Coordinate the updates to the Consumer Safety Newsletter, the key information tool within the Consumer Safety Organisation.
  • Maintain internal contact directories. 
  • Support the consumer safety function leadership team in the collection, maintenance, and coordination of safety data.
  • Support the coordination and update of key safety reports and safety Key Performance Indicators such as monthly QPPV summary reports and management monitoring activities.  
  • Support projects and initiatives within the Consumer Safety Organisation 
  • Support the maintenance and testing of the business continuity plan.
  • Support record retention and archiving 

Qualifications and skills Essential

  • Proficient in use of Microsoft Office suite - in particular MS Excel and SharePoint
  • Ability to accurately administer and transfer data
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good technical writing skills with the ability to produce clear, concise documentation and communications.
  • Good presentation and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Good stakeholder management and communication.
