In this dynamic role, the individual will manage press office, influencer gifting and deliver wider Aldi brand campaigns, in conjunction with our PR agencies.

Working collaboratively with every department across the business and as well as with external PR agencies, you will be responsible for effectively communicating exciting business news and products to our customers.

Your New Role

  • Managing a busy consumer press office with our agency partner
  • Delivering and managing wider Aldi brand campaigns with multiple PR agencies
  • Working collaboratively with the wider consumer PR team that manages PR across BWS, Food, Heath & Beauty, Baby & Toddler, Specialbuys and Brand Campaigns
  • Proactively managing an influencer gifting programme for the relevant category
  • Event management across various consumer PR media events
  • Liaising and building strong relationships with key stakeholders of all levels across the business, including our Social Media, Marketing and Buying Teams
  • Liaising and building effective relationships with our agencies to ensure timely delivery and accuracy in materials produced
  • Proactively managing potential risks to Aldi
  • Monitoring and controlling adherence to all deadlines
  • Continuous improvement within role, coming up with proactive ideas and campaigns to drive the Consumer PR programme forward

About You

  • A Consumer PR background
  • Previous experience working within a Communications department 
  • Experience working for an in-house Consumer PR team/or Consumer PR agency 
  • Consumer PR Agency Management
  • Media Event Management
  • Influencer Gifting Management 
  • Press Office Management  
  • Positive can-do attitude
  • Be self-motivated and a strategic thinker
  • Strong copywriting skills and a confident communicator
  • Highly organised with an excellent attention to detail
  • Be flexible and adaptable to business needs
  • Able to investigate, analyse and challenge appropriately
  • Able to manage a varied workload, conflicting deadlines and multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to work individually and as part of a wider team
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Proactive and able to use your initiative

  • Starting salary £36,625 rising to £42,770
  • Monday to Friday, 8am to 4:30pm, with the opportunity of 2 days a week remote working
