Responsibilities
- Secure and maintain ‘Buy’ ratings on the firm’s products from target investment consultants.
- Proactively contribute to growth in gross revenue inflows from the institutional marketplace in line with agreed sales targets.
- Develop and manage relationships with key contacts within investment consultant firms (research personnel, field consultants and executives).
- Lead as the primary relationship manager for a specified book of consultant firms.
- Attend conferences and host corporate events as required.
- Build strong relationships with internal clients (fund managers, product specialists, client directors, Head of departments etc.).
- Take on a mentorship role within the broader Institutional Business team.
Requirements
- At least 10 years’ experience working within the institutional marketplace (consultants, DB, DC and insurance sectors).
- Ability to manage new business process: encompassing RFP oversight, pre-pitch work and follow-up.
- German language skills would be highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of investment management theory and ability to articulate this confidently.
- Team player but also effective at working autonomously.
