An industry-leading Project Management consultancy, specialising in delivering exceptional projects across Industrial, Logistics, Education, and Healthcare sectors, is actively seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to join their team in Leeds.

The Construction Project Manager Role

The Construction Project Manager will play a crucial role in leading diverse building projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. This position involves direct client engagement and management of various project stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the entire lifecycle of construction projects from inception to completion.
  • Oversee the project team, ensuring effective collaboration and communication.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and legal regulations.
  • Conduct risk assessments and manage issues as they arise, ensuring minimal impact on the project timeline and costs.
  • Prepare and present regular progress reports to clients and senior management.
  • Engage in contract negotiations and manage the tender process.

The Construction Project Manager

  • Proven experience as a Construction Project Manager with a minimum of 4 years in the field.
  • Strong background in managing projects within Industrial, Logistics, Education, or Healthcare sectors.
  • Relevant qualifications such as a degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering.
  • Professional accreditations (e.g., CIOB, RICS) are highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and project management skills.
  • Proficient in MS Project and other project management tools.
