About the Role

• Prepare accurate cost plans, detailed estimates, and competitive tenders from concept to submission
• Work closely with project managers, clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to develop robust, cost-effective solutions
• Analyse drawings, specifications, and contract documents to identify risks and opportunities
• Drive value engineering initiatives and ensure pricing aligns with project delivery strategies
• Support continuous improvement of estimating systems and processes

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience as an Estimator in commercial construction (ideally carpentry, joinery, or fit-out)
• Strong knowledge of tendering methodologies and cost planning
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines under pressure
• Proficiency with industry-standard estimating software
• Applicants under 35 who have never worked in Australia before are strongly encouraged to apply — visa sponsorship available for the right candidate
