We are partnering with a prestigious international law firm renowned for its expertise in business legal services. Due to continued growth in their Risk & Compliance team, they are seeking multiple Conflicts Assistants to join their expanding Legal Conflicts department.
About the RoleAs a Conflicts Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the firm's Risk & Compliance function by conducting client searches, managing conflict check requests, and assisting with reputational risk assessments. You will work closely with global offices and experienced Conflicts Analysts in a supportive, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct client and matter searches using internal systems
- Coordinate conflict check requests with global offices
- Analyse search results to identify potential conflicts of interest
- Review external media sources for reputational risk factors
- Assist in preparing conflict reports under supervision
- Provide administrative support to the Legal Conflicts team
Candidate Requirements
- Degree educated, ideally with a 2:1 or higher classification
- Previous experience in a professional services or legal environment is desirable but not essential
- Exposure to compliance, risk, or anti-money laundering work is advantageous
- Strong research, analytical, and organisational skills
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
