About the Role
My client are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Compliance Performance Officer to join a busy Property Services team. This role plays a vital part in ensuring statutory compliance across a diverse property portfolio, with a focus on the “Big Six” compliance areas: Fire Safety, Gas Safety, Asbestos Management, Legionella Control, Electrical Safety, and Lifting Equipment (LOLER).
You will be responsible for monitoring, analysing, and reporting on compliance performance, supporting operational teams and contractors, and maintaining accurate datasets that underpin audit trails and strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Workload Monitoring & Planning
- Maintain and update compliance systems (e.g., Civica, Keystone, CAFM).
- Track asset compliance documentation and ensure data integrity.
- Analyse data to inform planning and produce performance reports.
- Develop dashboards (Power BI, Excel) to visualise trends and risks.
- Support scheduling of inspections and follow-up actions.
System Support & Data Governance
- Liaise with users and software providers to optimise system functionality.
- Document SOPs and workflows for data collection and reporting.
- Support system updates, testing, and user training.
Asset & Risk Management
- Ensure accurate recording of statutory assets and servicing regimes.
- Collaborate with technical teams to flag risks and support audits.
- Implement legislative changes into compliance records.
Performance & Quality
- Monitor KPIs and contractor performance.
- Produce reports for senior management and regulatory bodies.
- Drive continuous improvement and service effectiveness.
Policy Compliance
- Adhere to Health & Safety, Equal Opportunity, and Data Protection policies.
- Undertake other duties as required, appropriate to the grade.
About You
Essential Experience & Skills
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar compliance or property services role.
- Strong knowledge of housing and health & safety compliance.
- Proficient in Keystone, Northgate, Civica, CAFM systems.
- Advanced Excel skills; experience with Power BI and SharePoint.
- Familiarity with IOSH/NEBOSH standards.
- Experience producing reports and analysing compliance data.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Desirable Qualifications
- IOSH Working Safely (or willingness to obtain within 6 months).
- IWFM membership or equivalent experience in FM/property compliance.
- Awareness of statutory obligations in at least three of the “Big Six” areas.
