Estates Systems and Compliance Manager

Join one of the UK's most diverse healthcare providers as an Estates Systems and Compliance Manager. This role is crucial for ensuring that all London sites are compliant with statutory and mandatory legislation, optimising efficiency, effectiveness, and patient experience in our estates maintenance operations.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of Estates compliance reporting in accordance with Trust Statutory Regulations and DHSC requirements.
- Lead and continually review an effective document management system for all Estates maintenance-related services.
- Develop and manage an Estates Maintenance procedure for sourcing and storing building services and operational compliance-related documentation.
- Manage the Estates maintenance department's computerised systems, ensuring effective use and up-to-date data.
- Develop processes and procedures for the management of the estate's maintenance stores and ensure regular stock take audits.
- Provide advice on compliance with statutory, mandatory, and best practice and produce regular compliance, performance, and risk reports.
- Investigate incidents and complaints relating to the Estate Department and manage the NHS Premises Assurance Model (PAM) and compliance-related action plans.
- Participate as a designated “On Call Officer” for the out-of-hours emergency service as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Educated to degree level in a relevant estate building engineering-related technical field or equivalent experience.
- Extensive experience in Estates Services, including financial, budgetary, and resource management.
- Significant knowledge of Building Services compliance and current legislation related to Estates Services.
- Skilled in the use of relevant computer packages and confident in handling technical and numerical data.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to develop good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and prioritise competing demands.
- Current driving license.
