About the role

Working Monday to Friday 8am – 5pm, the Compliance Coordinator Apprentice will be part of a growing team, assisting local Transport Managers and Operational Departments across our various depots in the UK and Ireland whilst completing a Business Administration Apprenticeship.

You will be responsible for:

  • Creating reports from the internal compliance systems and distributing to all DFDS depots.
  • Checking and managing the documents received
  • Monitoring the internal compliance systems ensuring our vehicles and drivers are compliant
  • Reporting anomalies to the UK&I Compliance & Insurance Team Manager
  • Requesting, checking and organising driver documents (own and agency).

About you

Our preferred candidate will exhibit attention to detail, strong problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills. Additionally, they should demonstrate a willingness to learn and the capability to grasp new concepts quickly. Proficiency in IT is essential, particularly in Microsoft Office.
