Role Summary

To assist the Governance, Risk, Compliance, Legal and Security Team (GRCLS) in providing support with compliance tasks, routine administrative assistance and support of the technology platform - LogicGate. The role will provide additional learning about the importance of the compliance function and how it supports the wider business to manage its regulatory and legislative obligations. As a compliance analyst, you can embark on a career path involving on the job training and development with an opportunity to take obtain relevant qualifications.You will provide essential support with compliance tasks developing a deep understanding of the function and its critical role in helping the business meet its regulatory and legislative obligations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading process improvement projects to our central GRC system, LogicGate.
  • Working closely with subject matter experts on site to identify blockers and proactively implement solutions.
  • Identifying problems, implementing solutions, streamlining processes, and managing projects.
  • Championing change initiatives across GRCLS and the rest of the group.
  • Providing technical support and delivering training workshops within your area of expertise.
  • Supporting the delivery of client and certification audits, such as ISO and SOC 2 Type II.
  • Coordinating administration tasks acting as an assistant for the Group Compliance Director and the Chief Risk Officer.

Experience & Knowledge:

  • Collaboration with business stakeholders across all departments and locales.
  • Professional communication style face-to-face and through emails.
  • Experience with application hygiene and environment lifecycle.
  • Ability to work calmly under pressure and deliver to tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work in agile environments.
  • Ability to articulate technical information and convey to non-technical people.
  • Excellent IT skills, including use of Microsoft Office with an ability to quickly learn new systems and software.
  • Relevant Financial Services qualifications or bachelor's degree will be advantageous.
  • Typically, 2-3 years of experience.
