Job Role: Complaints Handler

Monday- Friday - shifts between 8am-6pm.

Salary: £24,500 plus bonus to earn

Location: Nottingham- Hybrid working. Equipment provided!!

Training:Full induction training will be provided over 2 weeks in the office.

We are looking for a skilled and empathetic Complaints Handler to join our clients leading insurance provider. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for customers who wish to raise concerns or complaints. You will take ownership of each case, ensuring it is managed fairly, efficiently, and in line with company policy and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and resolve customer complaints in a professional and timely manner.
  • Investigate issues thoroughly, ensuring a fair and balanced outcome.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed case records.
  • Liaise with internal teams to gather information and provide solutions.
  • Communicate decisions clearly to customers, showing empathy and understanding.
  • Identify trends and recurring issues to support service improvements.

About You:

  • Strong communication and listening skills.
  • Prior experience in a complaint handling role.
  • Previous complaint handling experience within an FCA regulated business is ideal.
  • Empathy, patience, and resilience when dealing with challenging situations.
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
  • Strong Microsoft Office experience with Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience in complaints handling, customer service, or a regulatory environment (desirable but not essential).
