Kenneth Brian Associates are working with a long established employer based in Epsom, who are seeking an experienced Complaints Handler to join their team.
The company are a Financial Services provider, so they are ideally looking for someone with experience within a regulated environment.
Specific responsibilities of the role will include:
- Handling customer complaints in a timely manner in line with FCA regulations
- Carry out investigations into customer complaints
- Ensuring satisfactory customer outcomes
- Communicating effectively with customers ensuring they are kept informed throughout the complaint process
- Following the process through to resolution
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements relating to complaint handling
- Highlighting recurring issues and areas for improvement
To be considered for this role, you will need:
- Previous complaints handling experience, ideally within a regulated environment
- Experience within the Financial Services industry
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to use judgement to make sound decisions
- Proactive, able to work effectively under pressure and use initiative
- Time management and prioritisation skills
- Experience of dealing with vulnerable customers, with the ability to identify vulnerabilities and adapt accordingly
- Competent with MS Office, particularly with Excel
The company offer a salary of up to £30,000, excellent benefits and hybrid working after probation.
