Job Description:

Are you a forward-thinking social worker passionate about creating positive change in communities? We are seeking a dynamic and creative individual to join our Community Wellbeing Team in North Tyneside.In this role, you will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with local residents, community groups, and partners to develop and implement innovative initiatives that promote wellbeing and address social determinants of health.

Responsibilities:

Engage with local residents to identify community needs, strengths, and priorities for action.Develop and implement community-led projects and initiatives that promote social inclusion, resilience, and wellbeing.Provide support and resources to individuals and families facing social and economic challenges, helping them build connections and access relevant services.Collaborate with local agencies, organizations, and stakeholders to coordinate and integrate services and support for vulnerable populations.Evaluate the impact of community interventions and initiatives, collecting data and feedback to inform future programming and decision-making.

Qualifications:

Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England.Experience working in community-based social work or related field.Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to plan, implement, and evaluate community initiatives.Passion for innovation and creativity, with a commitment to finding new and effective approaches to promoting wellbeing in communities.
