Community Nurse Cumbria - Band 6 - Randstad Care : Job Details

We are currently hiring dedicated Community Psychiatric Nurses (CPNs) to join our team in Cumbria. As a CPN, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the mental health and well-being of individuals in the community.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of individuals' mental health needs
• Develop and implement personalized care plans
• Administer medications and monitor their effectiveness
• Provide therapeutic interventions and counseling
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and community agencies
• Offer support and education to individuals and their families

Requirements:

• Valid registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC)
• Experience working as a Community Psychiatric Nurse (CPN)
• Strong knowledge of mental health disorders and treatments
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work autonomously and within a team
• Compassion and empathy for individuals with mental health challenges

We are offering full-time and part-time contracts for this role. The working hours are Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm. The hourly rate is £35, with opportunities for career development and progression.
