Our client now requires an experienced Communications Manager, who will have responsibility for developing and implementing both the internal and external communications strategy across their European business.
The Role:Reporting to the VP of Communications, as the Communications Manager you will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- supporting the implementation of internal and external communications plans to increase engagement and awareness
- promoting the corporate profile through effective communication means
- supporting the overall business wide communications strategy
- monitoring communications positioning for the business both internally and externally, alongside competitors
There will be some hybrid working arrangements with this role.
The Candidate:Ideally of graduate standard, or higher, from within a marketing or communications based discipline, candidates for the Communications Manager role will also be required to demonstrate that they have:
- previous work experience within a communications based role, either from within an agency or an in house communications team
- experience of devising and implementing strong and clear communications messaging
- excellent communication skills and the ability to be flexible and creative
- strong project management skills and a high proficiency in MS Office applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- the capability to be a hands-on type individual, who demonstrates initiative and has a positive and professional attitude
- the ability to work as part of a team or under their own initiative, demonstrating that they are an organised and capable individual, who us used to multi-tasking and can prioritise their workload in order to meet required deadlines
European language skills would be a benefit but are not essential.
