Commis Chef - £25k plus tips plus bonus: Midhurst in West Sussex, own transport ideally. (Please check the location before you apply for this position)

Would you like to work a 40 hour week as a Commis Chef and have Live In accommodation at £72 per week including all bills.

You must be living and working in the UK OR have a British Passport OR have Right to Work/Settlement Status. We 'cannot' offer visa sponsorship.

Then come and join this friendly brigade of 7, cooking all fresh food to a high standard in this lovely hotel restaurant with approx covers of 70 and learn from top chefs.

Experience

We are looking for an experienced Commis Chef to work with us in this all fresh food hotel kitchen. You will ideally need to have either restaurant, hotel or high end gastro pub/restaurant experience and all fresh food cooking experience to a high standard. Have good knife skills and be willing to learn and grow as a Chef. Also being reliable and having the right working attitude are just as important.

Salary and Benefits

• £25k per annum plus tips, plus bonus
• Tips £200 to £400 per 4 week period (£2,600 to £4,800 per year)
• Bonus based on food cost performance anything from £0 - £200 paid per 4 week period if targets are met, but not guaranteed. (£0 to £2,600)
• 40 hour week some straight and some split shifts

• Live in accommodation at £72 per week to include all bills except TV license. Live in is for single occupancy only.

Please note if your application is successful you will be required to come and do a trial shift. So you need to be able to get to Midhurst in West Sussex.Trial shifts are usually 9.00am/9.30am until 2.00pm/2.30pm.
