COMMERCIAL LEGAL COUNSEL, TECHc. 3 YEARS' PQE AND ABOVE6M FTC, APRIL STARTWFH & 1 DAY/WEEK IN CAMBRIDGE HQWe are delighted to work with an innovative global software business, looking to recruit an additional lawyer to join the team, reporting into the GC. The role will start in April and is a 6 month maternity cover. The successful candidate will support the business on a variety of work: Examples of likely responsibilities include: rafting and negotiating commercial contracts for various business units including NDA’s, technology agreements, SaaS licensing, software development, partnership agreements, vendor contracts etc, advising on the use of data within technological solutions, including personal data and the issues surrounding hosting, access and security and wider matters relating to marketing, transactional and ESG activities.  As part of a successful, global software company, the role will be challenging, diverse and fun!We are looking for a UK qualified commercial/tech lawyer with at least 3 years' PQE, potentially significantly more. You will ideally have previous in-house experience and experience in the tech & software fields (within any industry) will be very useful. Youyr experience will include software, SaaS and licensing concepts such as IP, limitations of liability, indemnification, and privacy.The salary will be very competitive and will depend on experience. We are looking for a strong cultural fit: the ethos is open and collegiate, the work/life balance excellent, and the team enjoy great rapport with the business.
