Our client in Manchester is seeking a Commercial Solicitor to join their Business Services - Government & Infrastructure team, specialising in regeneration and infrastructure projects.

This role involves delivering complex regeneration schemes for public, private, and third sector clients, including large-scale housing-led, mixed-use, and town centre projects often involving joint ventures or innovative delivery methods. The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership on these projects, support across legal specialisms, draft transactional documents, and advise clients on public procurement and other project-specific legal matters. The position offers the opportunity to work on high-profile regeneration initiatives, fostering client relationships, and contributing to impactful infrastructure development within the public sector.

• Experience as a solicitor with a background in public sector projects and regeneration work
• Proven ability to handle multiple complex projects within tight deadlines
• Strong transactional management skills in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent drafting and advisory skills, with a good understanding of commercial law
• Collaborative approach working with multidisciplinary teams and external professionals
• Knowledge of public law, including public procurement, is advantageous but not essential
