Job Opportunity: Associate Solicitor – Commercial, IP/IT & Data Protection (4+ Years’ PQE)

Location: Glasgow 

Overview:A leading national law firm is seeking an Associate to join its highly ranked Commercial Services team. This role offers the chance to work on a diverse mix of commercial, IP/IT and data protection matters for clients across the UK. It’s a fantastic opportunity for a solicitor with 4+ years’ PQE to engage in top-tier work and grow within a collaborative, forward-thinking team.

Role Requirements

Experience:

• 4–8 years’ PQE in commercial contracts and data protection (other levels will be considered)
• Background in advising on complex commercial issues, including technology, outsourcing and procurement
• Involvement in IP and regulatory matters, with experience supporting and guiding junior colleagues

Skills:

• Skilled in drafting, negotiation and clear communication
• Confident managing multiple deadlines and sophisticated projects
• Commercially aware with a genuine interest in legal innovation, including tech and AI
