Commercial Property Solicitor | Stourbridge | Full Time | Competitive Salary DOECommercial Property SolicitorA Commercial Property Solicitor is required by a modern specialist firm of solicitors based in Stourbridge to perform fee earning work in their Commercial Property department efficiently and effectively.Key TasksLegal Casework

• Handling a wide mixed caseload including sales, purchases and remortgages of various commercial properties, including owner occupied and investment properties.
• The candidate will also need to be able to deal with various lease transactions including acting for both landlord and tenant.
• Managing a personal caseload and ensuring that files are managed competently, effectively, and profitably.
• Achieving any assigned billing targets where appropriate.
• Ensuring that time and cost recording data is maintained for each case in accordance with the Firm’s procedure.
• Gaining or maintaining IT skills appropriate to a modern legal practice.
• Developing and updating legal knowledge in Commercial property by way of webinars, self-study, and perusal of reference materials. 
• Compliance with the SRA Codes of Conduct and SRA Accounts Rules.

Other Responsibilities

• To operate in accordance with the Firms’ documented quality system as set out in the Office Manual and associated plans, policies, and procedures.
• Contribute to maintaining a safe and healthy working environment.
• Contribute to maintaining and improving procedures.
• Ensure compliance with the Firms’ Equality and Diversity Policy.
• Undertake other reasonable duties related to the job purpose required from time to time.

Person SpecificationQUALIFICATIONS

• Current Practicing Certificate.

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Good interpersonal skills with clients, colleagues, and professionals.
• Clean driving licence.

EXPERIENCE

• PQE 5 years +
