Commercial Property Solicitor - The Eventus Recruitment Group : Job Details

The Eventus Recruitment Group are seeking an experienced Commercial Property Solicitor to join a successful, award-winning firm based in the South Lakes, Cumbria. This is a full-time, permanent job position. Benefits include, discretionary bonuses, enhanced parental leave, and private healthcare.

Role Responsibilities

The incoming Commercial Property Solicitor will be responsible for providing legal advice and guidance to clients on a range of matters including contract negotiation, dispute resolution and corporate transactions. You must be confident in collaborating with colleagues across the firm and dealing with regional clients, developers and investors. Your varied caseload will include but not limited to:

• Commercial sales and purchases including freehold and leasehold
• Landlord and tenant
• Development Conveyancing including 106 agreements
• Option agreements and conditional contracts
• Management including deeds of assignment, licences to under-let, rent deposit deeds, authorised guarantee agreements and licenses to alter

Person Specification

Applications are sought from Commercial Property Solicitors with a minimum 2 years’ PQE and experience handling a similar caseload to that mentioned above. You will be a driven and self-motivated team player with the ability to work independently and always provide excellent levels of customer service. The successful Solicitor will also be able to demonstrate the following:

• Strong communicator who can give sound legal advice promptly
• Client focussed
• Commercially aware
• Familiar with Microsoft Office and case management systems
