COMMERCIAL PROPERTY PARTNER (QUALIFIED SOLICITOR)
We are currently working on an exciting opportunity for an individual above 7 years qualified to work on a full-time basis in the City. The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate excellent academics and commercial property experience gained in a top 200 firm including but not limited to the following:
- Landlord and Tenant including full expertise in dealing with 1954 Act excluded leases and protected lease renewals;
- Development of Land including negotiation of Development Agreements and Warranties, site assembly, rights to light, restrictive covenants; overage clauses.
- Secured Lending to include drafting and negotiation of commercial charges, debentures, share charges, dealing with enquiries before charge and drawdown, perfection of security and registration;
- Acquisition and disposal of leasehold and freehold Commercial Property including expertise in dealing with VAT-related TOGC requirements, capital allowances, apportionments, statutory compliance, complex titles, transfers of part;
- Negotiation, reports on title, reports on leases;
- Supervision and management of junior colleague including trainee solicitor;
- IT skills including working within a recognised case management system
