Job Title: Commercial Property ParalegalSalary: £25,000 - £26,000Location: Leeds City Centre, West YorkshireA great opportunity has become available for a Paralegal or Legal Assistant to join a busy Commercial Property team at a well-established legal practice based in Leeds City Centre. In this role, you will support solicitors and fee earners on a variety of commercial property matters - from file inception through to post-completion - gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.About the Role
As part of the commercial property department, your key responsibilities will include:
- Supporting solicitors and fee earners across the full property transaction lifecycle
- Managing routine correspondence and client communication
- Preparing legal documents and file paperwork
- Assisting with billing procedures and liaising with the accounts team
- Handling client enquiries and third-party communications professionally
- Undertaking general administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying and document collation
- Contributing to continuous improvement of internal processes and service delivery
What We're Looking For
Essential Skills:
- Excellent communication and client care skills
- Strong attention to detail and organisational ability
- Able to prioritise effectively and work under pressure to meet deadlines
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
- IT literate with solid working knowledge of standard office software
Experience Required:
- At least 6 months' experience in a commercial property or residential conveyancing environment (commercial property preferred)
- Experience handling files and communicating with clients in a legal setting
