Commercial Property Paralegal - Join Our Growing Renewable Energy Team!

Are you an ambitious and enthusiastic paralegal looking to make a significant impact in a dynamic in-house legal team? We are working exclusively with a fast-growing renewable energy business, and this is your chance to be part of their exciting next phase of growth!

About the Role:

Join our agile in-house legal team and support key projects, including property legal title assessments, drafting and negotiating project agreements, and providing property legal support in acquisitions. You'll work closely with our corporate team and external solicitors to deliver impactful projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct initial property legal title assessments and reviews
  • Produce full title reports
  • Assist with preparing and agreeing heads of terms with landowners and commercial partners
  • Draft and negotiate project agreements, including option agreements, easements, wayleave agreements, and licences
  • Provide property legal support in corporate and project rights acquisitions
  • Develop and deliver systems and communications (including SharePoint sites)
  • Review and appraise risks in major project contracts
  • Ensure timely completion of legal agreements through project management
  • Provide additional support, including data room management and legal research
  • General administrative support as required

Location:

Based in the heart of Cheltenham, with occasional visits to our London office. We offer hybrid working, allowing you to split your week between home and office.

About You:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience as a paralegal with a sound knowledge of property law and legal title
  • Solid grounding in general commercial property matters
  • Experience working with property teams to manage and deliver results
  • Excellent communication and drafting skills
  • Strong attention to detail and high standard of service
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Experience managing conflicting priorities
  • Positive, proactive, and enthusiastic attitude
  • Sound judgement and commercial acumen
  • Ability to undertake quality research and communicate results clearly
  • Ability to collaborate with the wider business units to develop and maintain a strong support function
