Job Title: Commercial Intelligence & Reporting Manager

Location: West London, hybrid

Salary: £50,000 - 58,000

Key Responsibilities

  • Programme manage the development of the commercial updates in the EMEA monthly and quarterly reports to deliver powerful business stories to our CEOs and Board of Directors; create the “story” for total EMEA alongside senior stakeholders and coordinate the other teams inputting into the reports.
  • Constantly review and propose improvements to the overall reporting process, framework, and tools to maximise efficiencies.
  • Programme manage the continuous development and refinement of commercial performance analytical tools and processes, e.g. PowerBI; NIQ (aka Nielsen) Discover.
  • Account management of the central relationship with EPOS data provider NIQ; ensure delivery in line with expectations/service level agreements; drives issues resolution and improvements to processes and analytical tools; coordinate other stakeholders as necessary; negotiate yearly pricing; etc…
  • Supports the Commercial Strategy & Insights Senior Director in the creation of the long-term commercial targets and strategy to achieve them, including yearly budgeting.
  • Support the programme management of the business forum where the EMEA leadership team reviews business and discusses key commercial topics.
  • Support the team and other division’s needs as appropriate.

Your Profile

Essential:

  • Strong programme and project management skills: is well organized; effectively manages cross-functional project teams and engages key stakeholders (of varying levels of seniority); communicates with clarity, focus and passion; proactively solves problems and navigates the matrix structure smoothly; continuously review processes, ways of working, tools and implement improvements to drive efficiencies and effectiveness; has oversight of all projects/workstreams and proactively and effectively manages alignment with senior stakeholders.
  • Business storyteller: analytical, can identify and tell a story from large quantities of verbal and numerical data; knows how to effectively deliver key messages through graphs, numbers and words, with gravitas and brevity, i.e. appropriate to the Board of Directors; identifies discrepancies/incongruencies and resolves them.
  • Has an eye for detail, is meticulous.
  • Excellent oral and written English.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience using PowerBI or other data visualization tools.

Desirable:

  • Experience using NIQ data.
  • Understands commercial P&Ls.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Knows how to create and maintain PowerBI databases and visualisations.
