Commercial Finance Manager - Sharp Consultancy : Job Details

We’re partnering with a fast-paced UK business in their search for a driven Commercial Finance Manager to play a key role as a business partner to senior operational leaders. This position will provide critical financial insight and analysis to support strategic goals, helping to shape decision-making and drive performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a strategic partner to leadership, supporting financial planning and decision-making.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting processes.
• Analyse sales, margins, and operational KPIs to highlight trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Provide clear, insight-driven commentary to explain business performance.
• Support pricing strategies, promotional evaluations, and investment appraisals.
• Drive improvements in financial processes, reporting, and analytics.
• Work collaboratively across finance and operational teams to ensure alignment.

Ideally you will be able to demonstrate the below qualifications/experience:

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with solid commercial finance and
• Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel capability.
• Proven experience in a commercial finance role, ideally within a fast-paced, multi-site or consumer-focused industry.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to take ownership, work independently, and deliver under pressure
