Commercial Finance Business Partner - Marc Daniels : Job Details

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Finance Business Partner to join a fast-growing FMCG business based in West London. This role offers hybrid working options and significant exposure to senior stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the annual inventory budgeting process and quarterly budget/forecast reviews
• Establish and maintain standard costing for products and regularly review and update as needed.
• Provide timely and accurate cost information to support decision-making by management.
• Implement and monitor financial controls to enhance factory efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising product quality.
• Conduct regular financial analysis to identify areas for improvement and recommend strategies to optimize operational costs.
• Prepare and present financial reports, including variance analysis and key performance indicators (KPIs), to management.
• Analyse SKU-level profitability and contribute to product pricing strategies.
• Work closely with production and sales teams to ensure that the product mix aligns with profitability goals.
• Develop and maintain reports to track SKU performance over time and make data-driven recommendations.
• Work closely with the production & logistics teams to identify areas of improvement and drive growth.
• Work closely with New Product teams to ensure accurate costing of new products during the development phase, guiding towards cost effective solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement financial plans to achieve business objectives.

Requirements:

• Qualified ACA / ACCA / CIMA or Equivalent
• Experience of Supply Chain industry metrics
• Analytical with high degree of numeracy and accuracy
• Good commercial awareness
• Good communication
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and SAP
