Commercial Finance Analyst – Media & Production?? London (Hybrid) | ?? Permanent role | ?? Start within 2 WeeksWe're working with a fast-paced, creative media business that delivers high-quality content across digital and branded formats. The team is seeking an experienced Commercial Analyst to support their finance operations through a critical period of integration and growth.This is a hands-on role, perfect for someone who enjoys getting into the detail, managing imperfect datasets, and working closely with creative teams. You’ll play a key part in aligning financial tools and processes across the business while supporting production budgets and commercial decisions. We’re specifically looking for candidates who are available to start within 2 weeks or less. ?? What You'll Be Doing
  • Analyse production budgets, project performance, and cost drivers across a diverse slate of content
  • Maintain forecasting models, revenue pipelines, and margin analyses
  • Work with production, finance, and sales teams to track actuals vs forecasts, identifying risks and variances
  • Build dashboards and management reports to monitor KPIs
  • Support with business planning, scenario modelling, and cash flow forecasting
  • Oversee and reconcile cost statements for physical and digital productions
  • Guide production teams through finance processes and best practices
  • Simplify and streamline reporting tools and spreadsheets
  • Monitor spend across POs, credit cards, and expenses
  • Proactively communicate risks and opportunities to stakeholders
�? What We’re Looking For
  • Previous experience in a Commercial Analyst or Finance Analyst role
  • Hands-on, comfortable working with messy or incomplete data
  • Experience in a media, entertainment, or production environment is highly preferred
  • Strong Excel and modelling skills are a must
  • Confident communicator, able to work with both finance and non-finance teams
  • Experience with Xero is preferable
  • Part-qualified or qualified (CIMA / ACCA / ACA)
