Commercial Accountant - Production Advertising - Media Geeks Recruitment : Job Details

Have you worked in a Production / Marketing Services / Digital Agency or a similar fee based business?

Do you have strong WIP and revenue experience ideally at Global level?

Is your Excel at a level where you can build pivot tables and set up v look ups from scratch?

An Independent Advertising Production Agency is looking to upskill their commercial offering ands hire a Commercial Accountant. You will be looking after WIP Billing and some credit control but the main part of the role would be looking at revenue recognition and forecasting, develop various commercial reporting and analysis functions and built strong relationships Globally.

• Production of monthly profitability by client
• Monthly analysis of time spent on each client for review by department and client heads
• Production of monthly recovery reports
• Presentation of figures to the management team with relevant commentary
• Running of meetings with client teams with attendance from Senior Management on a rolling basis
• Continually review processes to ensure we are generating them in the most efficient way
• Working closely with the FC and FD on system change & improvements

To be able to do the job efficiently you will need excellent interpersonal skills, very strong excel and persistence. There's lots of trouble shooting, great room for improvement and putting your own stamp.
