Commercial Accountant - Mademoiselle Desserts : Job Details

Mademoiselle Desserts are a B Corp business, creating amazing cakes and desserts for Food Service in the UK and beyond.

We are looking for a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with experience in a fast-paced FMCG environment to join our team as a Commercial Finance Analyst.

This is an office based role, on the site of one of our bakeries where the successful applicant will add to the success of both the local site and wider business.

About the Role: What you'll be doing:

• Ownership of transfer pricing on intercompany products.
• Promotion analysis.
• Customer sales returns.
• Partnering with the sales team to analyse profitability by customer, channel, and SKU.
• Weekly and monthly sales reporting and reconciliation of sales reports to the General Ledger.
• Working with the Commercial Director on retail sales analysis and providing ad hoc reports as needed.
• Maintaining and reconciling customer rebates and overriders against the balance sheet.
• Authorizing all rebate invoices/credit notes.
• Supporting annual price increase calculations.
• Providing support to the Finance Controller on budgeting and forecasting.
• Leading continuous improvement projects that enhance commercial processes and decision-making.

About You: This role will suit you if:

• You’re a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
• You have experience in a fast-paced FMCG environment.
• You’re confident building and maintaining financial models and tools.
• You combine financial expertise with clear communication and a collaborative, business-partnering mindset.
• You’re proactive, accurate, and driven by commercial impact—not just numbers.
• You have advanced Excel knowledge.
